In conjunction with the change of regulations concerning personal data protection and entry into application of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the repeal of Directive 95/46 EC (General Data Protection Regulation - hereinafter referred to as GDPR) from the day of 25 May 2018, we inform that:

  1. The controller of your personal data is OPAKMET Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Inowrocław at the following address: ul. Karola Marcinkowskiego 110, 88-100 Inowrocław.

  3. Your personal data will be processed only for the following purposes:
  • implementing commercial processes,
  • concluding and executing the agreement,
  • making claims arising from business activity,
  • complying with our legal obligations, especially issuing and storing invoices and accounting documents, executing tax obligations (on the basis of art. 6 sec. 1 letter c),
  • for internal administrative purposes executed within the company,
  • marketing communication, on the basis of your consent and until lodging an objection to data processing performed for this purpose,
  • assessing the creditworthiness, debt collection,
  • analysing the data for the purpose of, among other things, improving cooperation.
  1. The collector processes your personal data to the extent that such data are made available by public sources, i.e. from, for example, the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register, Central Registration and Information on Business, Polish Central Statistical Office as well as to the extent that such data are obtained from you in conjunction with an enquiry, order processing / agreement execution. 
  2. OPAKMET Sp. z o.o. processes the following scope of your personal data: Name and surname, e-mail address, employer’s name and its registered office, correspondence address, telephone number, job position. Moreover, it may process other personal data provided by you in order to execute the concluded agreements and exchange business correspondence.
  3. Your personal data may be processed, either electronically or in hard copy form.
  4. The recipient of your personal data shall be employees of the data controller, in their area of business responsibility on the basis of authorisation.
  5. Personal data may be transferred to the following recipients:
  • carriers providing transport services for you,
  • customers for the benefit of which transport services, within the scope of product delivery, are and shall be provided,
  • law firms in order to make claims by the Data Controller,
  • entities supplying and supporting the Company’s ICT systems and entities providing services concerning the Company’s current activity,
  • entities with which the Company has concluded agreements on personal data processing,
  • entities or authorities empowered under law.
  1. Your personal data will not be transferred to any third country/organisation.
  2. Your personal data shall be stored as long as it is necessary to perform all activities resulting from point 3 and provisions of law, requiring the Data Controller to process the data for a specific period of time.
  3. You have the right to access your data (including the right to receive a copy), the right to rectification, modification, restriction of processing to data essential to processing, the right to transfer the data, deletion, the right to object, the right to withdraw consent at any time and with no impact on the lawfulness of the processing (if made on the basis of consent).

  1. You have the right to file a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (former the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data), if you decide that the processing of personal data relating to you violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
  2. The legal grounds for processing personal data, in compliance with the provisions of Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, are the provisions of the GDPR, including especially consent. Providing personal data is voluntary, however, refusal to provide the data shall result in refusal to conclude an agreement or enter into cooperation.
  3. The Data Controller shall make every effort to provide all means of physical, technical and organizational protection of personal data against their accidental or deliberate destruction, accidental loss, change, unauthorized disclosure, use or access, in accordance with all applicable provisions.
  4. Cookies - the Company’s website uses cookies. Cookies are small files which allow devices used for browsing the Internet (e.g. computer, smartphone etc.) to remember specific information regarding this device. Information recorded in cookies are used, among others, for advertising and statistics and to adapt our services to your individual needs.
